Schizophrenia

Hello. i am mr. schizophrenia.
i am happy, yet depressed.
i am one, yet torn apart.
i am confident, yet lost.
i am extremely intelligent, yet i lack understanding.
i am human, yet something less.

come one, come all to this tragic affair.
we only pretend to be strong so we can also be weak.
we fight for causes that we don't believe in.
we work for things we do not need.
we speak our minds when we should be silent.
and keep our silence when we need to speak
we are human, yet we are less than even that.

there is no such thing as sadness.
there is no such thing as hapiness.
there is no point in living.
there is no point in working.
there is no point in fighting.
because at the end of the day, rich or poor, special or no, we all wind up dead.

we are only human, but i believe we are less.
