Unusually calm state of the recently dead.
I am in an unusually calm, composed and poetic state. Calm in the sense that I didn't panic when I accidentally knocked my chopsticks (which were in a bowl full of soup) onto the floor (together with a teensy bit of my dinner). The TV isn't on, the radio isn't on (I have a TV and a radio?), I'm not on the phone, I'm not asleep, I'm not out.
I forgot when was the last time I had so much time to myself. I'm not really liking it.
Anyway.
Give me back my slumber
Cos I see you in my sleep
Steal from me my very breath
My rest from me you keep
Give me back my good times
From days in which you stole
My joy my smile my happiness
That once had made me whole
Give me back my sanity
And take away my fear
Cos my nightmares start only when I wake
And realise that you're not near.
Ergh. What a punctuation-less poem. Haha.
Reminds me of "I Don't Love You" by My Chemical Romance (I just watched the music video).
I found out how to do some pretty neat stuff in Adobe Illustrator. I'm such a newbie. But at least it's useful.
Now is an appropriate time to sing "Answer the phone, I know that you're home..." (rest of the song omitted on purpose).
Hmmm.
What to do, what to do...

why were your chopsticks in a bowl of soup?
A bowl of soup that used to contain noodles...
