Ooo.
It's 3am, and I'm proud to say that I've finished the homework that I've set out to do today!
Now all I need to do is the IVP (Inter-Varsity Programme) financial report, finish up my elective module drawings (of Little Red Riding Hood toting a machine gun) of which I took a week to finish 6/9 pages of (that's a lot of "of"s).
No pressure.
Just have to make sure that I wake up at 8 *latest* (my alarm clock says seven-thirty. Like that is gonna happen) so that I can reach school by nine (thank God for nearby schools) to watch more numbers on more computer screens whilst trying to find out how we can re-make the $4m that we spent on R&D last quarter (Simulation game. My lecturer's new way of teaching Entrepreneurship).
After which, I need to print my stencils (which was what I spent the last 5 hours and 30 minutes doing) so that I can cut it out (thanks in advance, MC), stick it on water-colour paper, paint it, peel off the stencil, paint it again, then stick it onto the pages of the book I'm working on (of which three-quarters of the pages are currently MIA), create a hard cover, bind the book, type a progress report and prepare to defend myself during the execution. I mean, exhibition.
Sounds fun, eh.
Which reminds me: I need to run to Art Friend to purchase a new book of drawing block papers (to make up for the pages that are currently lost in transition) and some water-colour paper to complete the above-mentioned chunk of homework that I need to complete now-ish to appease my already very understanding lecturer (no sarcasm implied, he really is very understanding).
Why isn't there a save-point and a reset button for life. Or a "stop-time" power-up item. Heh.
Sorry, sudden relapse of the gaming side of my brain.
On another note, I had lots of fun during Mike Connell's meeting just now. Lots of kicking, screaming and shouting. I was fortunate enough to leave the hall with the very very minor "I got spat on just now". Ravi experienced the "got my hand dragged across the carpet", while some others had the "kicked in the bum by stilettos". Can't wait for the next time Pastor Mike comes back.
I really don't think I have time to go for training tomorrow...
Just a preview of the work ahead of me, this is an example of a stencil:
Say again, stencil, which means the white stays and the black goes. How? Why, with a pen-knife, a million extra blades, a cutting mat, steady hands, lots of patience, and as much help as I can get, of course!
Which brings me to why I took so long to draw the stencils... I tried to make extra sure to leave enough white spaces in-between the black spaces so that the stencil won't fall into a million pieces. Yes, I'm aware that Spider-Man's eye is isolated, I'll just have to figure that out later...
Okay, my ten minutes of continuous typing is up. Gonna go sleep now and try and wake up early tomorrow. Still have the financial report and the elective module assignment (which I just realised is due this coming Friday) to finish up by the end of tomorrow.
Quote of the day: "I was elected to lead, not to read".
